The Book of Daniel

We meet on Mondays at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Church. Our studies last approximately one hour. We begin and end in prayer.

We choose a book of the Bible to study and look at it one chapter at a time, discussing the content within context (historical, cultural, Biblical, etc.). We lean on traditional Biblical scholarship, including the Ancient Fathers of the Church and orthodox modern commentaries, to better understand the impact of Scripture on our daily lives, both physical and spiritual. Primarily, we rely on the King James Version for our discussion, but we also recommend the English Standard Version and the American Standard Version as solid and worthy translations.
